I've made most of my wealth by starting Companies and "sailing into the unknown" - to some degree!
You do need a bit of courage and élan (dash; impetuous ardour).
Have to say the yanks are much more commercially adventurous than we Aussies.
The conservatism from madam and warrigals et al is a bit depressing and is communicated too often for my liking!
Too much analysis causing paralysis - part of the problem for many investors perhaps.
More "gut reaction" required. When a disruptive paradigm shift company leading the world in cellular medicine, that has performed well in all clinical trials and is involved with the approval from the FDA at Boston Children's Hospital in injecting MPC's into the left ventricle of very young children with HLHS - then this is extraordinarily significant.
And it's an Aussie Company!
