I have wounded about this too. I feel that there are different options to what this is supposed to reflect. Some would have a buy regardless of short term trends, others would be looking ahead a few weeks and others may only be reflecting a very short term view . To my understanding there is no write or wrong.
Will be interesting to see what today brings. If I was a trader , I would like to have a open position this week end. The possibilities of upward movement in SP is overwhelming when compared to the opposite.
