Yes I guess they haven't noticed it's not a pharmaceutical drug so it won't ever be in chemist shops!
Seriously though I agree this is likely to be able to be resolved once they have had some education about the facts.
Fear-driven stuff.
But as SI said, they have the data to show the children's lives are being saved.
It's not a precaution. The data they want could come from adults as part of that process.
Litigation is always a last resort. Persuasion is the best way.
