Hi OP,
I have little to no understanding of this, but I thought I had read another HC post somewhere where the DMC might stop the trial
-if they fail to meet safety
-if there is overwhelming efficacy evidence (ie results so good that they can stop mid-trial, and start approval process in order to save lives)
which makes me a little nervous that the results so far might be only showing moderate efficacy.
Please tell me I'm wrong?
