No its not simple supply and demandShort selling creates artificial supply; artificial supply that is controlled by entities with a predatory mindset. These entities are hell-bent on forcing lower prices. Short selling only succeeds if prices are driven down, and given the ready access to other peoples’ shares by industry insiders, supply almost always overwhelms genuine demand. It is why open short positions often rise almost exponentially until a share price collapse is triggered. The charts of targeted companies tell the same old story over and over; it is a story of orchestrated wealth destruction.
