The Belfast researchers are yet to do any clinical trials, so their a long way off coming to market. Plus they use the Patients own cells, so likely more expensive than Mesenchymal cells. MSB Trials seem to indicate that repair action is in the circulatory system when you inject into the blood stream. Maybe you need to inject into Muscle to repair Muscle tissue.
Another thing is that MSB Cells are generated from Fat cells, and what do we see, Gastrointestinal bleeding being prevented/repaired. Belfast researchers take Blood to generate their cells, and result is repair to Arteries. In both cases same area of the body is being used to heal itself. You really you need to go back to animal models to get answers. Maybe the Stem Cells aren't being reprogrammed as much as claimed.
