I thought this a very interesting post by @wagster in the Novartis thread:

"Can anyone clarify this? - I heard a question at the end about what price the US$25M equity buy-in - and I thought the answer was 15% premium to the average SP over the next 30 days! - Strategically to me - this could mean that MSB will be keen to drive up the SP with the other results due in 2 weeks - to help reduce the dilution to Novartis
On the other hand it could mean there will be forces in play trying to keep a lid on the SP so that Novartis - get a reasonable chunk of equity.
interested in other people's opinions - am I wrong on what i heard?"
I thought I'd re-post here in the trading thread, as I too believe that this could hold the SP back over the next 30 days. Or alternatively force SI's hand to bring forward results?
Can anyone with superior market knowledge shed any light on these posibilities?
Cheers.
