That's the beauty of it.

As of 26th of November, there are still ~42m aggregated short positions, as per Shorman, but this is a lagging indicator
The last 4 trading days, we had 229,943; 208,619; 336,952 and 227,215 new short positions.
This tells me that they are not creating many new short positions and trying to exit - in a not so orderly manner

These are "professional" sharts who has forgotten to develop an exit strategy
Oh well - they've made plenty of money out of shorting Mesoblast in the past, so it's about time they give some back - I know a few MSB'ers who would agree @maurico @vinn
