I agree
I thought that the bulk of the short unwinding activities would have happened last week, but Shortman is showing that there has been an increased of short positions - go figure
But, as a LTSH, I now have no fear of these professional shorters.
In fact, there's 37m shares to be purchased at a future date
Shorters used to win against Mesoblast, as there was always an exit pathway, mainly via CR.
But, the game has shifted.
Mesoblast got access to plenty of cash/ funds; and are likely to get more in terms of partnership $$$
Also, the convincing ODAC approval recommendation of 9-1 has put to bed about Mesoblast not have achieved anything.
In a space of a few months, Mesoblast will be achieving plenty.
So, I'm mildly curious as to why they professional shorters have increased their position on MSB, whereby now their is a higher risk to them - there's plenty of other ASX stock for them to focus on - go figure
