Shorters used to win against Mesoblast, as there was always an exit pathway, mainly via CR.
But, the game has shifted.

Mesoblast got access to plenty of cash/ funds; and are likely to get more in terms of partnership $$$

Also, the convincing ODAC approval recommendation of 9-1 has put to bed about Mesoblast not have achieved anything.
In a space of a few months, Mesoblast will be achieving plenty.

So, I'm mildly curious as to why they professional shorters have increased their position on MSB, whereby now their is a higher risk to them - there's plenty of other ASX stock for them to focus on - go figure

well they increased again. updated net positions to the 13th of August was up sharply.

I guess all good things (for shorts) must come to an end. Over my years investing they do win heavily via manipulation. There are the number of occasions where they do get it wrong. JBH and A2M just to make a couple.
