Shorters used to win against Mesoblast, as there was always an exit pathway, mainly via CR.
But, the game has shifted.

Mesoblast got access to plenty of cash/ funds; and are likely to get more in terms of partnership $$$

Also, the convincing ODAC approval recommendation of 9-1 has put to bed about Mesoblast not have achieved anything.
In a space of a few months, Mesoblast will be achieving plenty.

So, I'm mildly curious as to why they professional shorters have increased their position on MSB, whereby now their is a higher risk to them - there's plenty of other ASX stock for them to focus on - go figure

@ddwn Are they doing big Pharma's bidding with an open cheque book?

Unsettle MSB making it appear risky hence less able to raise capital for development.

Create pressure on board to consider / accept TO offer?
