I recommend you switch to Firefox. They are privacy focused browser. In Firefox you can "block audio and video".

On Windows: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay
Also in Firefox, you can install the add-on "uBlock Origin", if you would like to block ads. Like the annoying ads that show during YouTube video's.
I recommend you switch to Firefox. They are privacy focused...
