Whilst prudent to suggest people should not invest themselves into a corner, it's a little stretched to say the upramping goes unabated. Whilst I personally don't blindly follow the extreme positivities, nor to the opposite extreme, I do however listen when there is scientific or mathematical data presented, and can be tested and confirmed. When you have failed to produce a single piece of legitimate refutable evidence to support your argument, I switch off and dare say others probably should too.
