Approval will come through in time. Some will profit more than others, and some on margin call today may lose it all depending on how they structured their portfolio. In the long term those that hold will have lost nothing, just a little time to enjoy the financial success of the company. I brought because I believe in what the Company is doing. I am holding for the long term and nothing has changed my mind.
I fear that there will be children alive today who will, while we wait, die. I also pity any adult on this randomised trial who will also die, proving a safe drug that works and is saving lives else where.
By ignoring the advice of their expert committee it has to call into question the people at the FDA who could have saved time and lives by saying to Mesoblast, we have to have randomised trials if you want approval. That is a hell of a burden to carry when you close your eyes to try and sleep at night.
