That's correct. Unless the shorts have access to blinded data for these 3 trials then it is a very poor risk vs reward ratio in maintaining short positions at the current SP. This also goes for ppl selling down entirely though I can understand some very short-term risk management selling if they feel overcomitted. Personally, I think it's a bit late for derisking at these prices.
i suspect we will see that many shorts have closed their positions over the last couple of days and early next week. Very close to strong support levels now.
