Even a bank savings account with compound interest is a parabolic curve.
For some reason a handful of posters have started using the term to describe any major advance and (while I don't know where the MSB price is going from here) as far as their use of the term goes I'd be surprised if any of them had the foggiest idea what they're talking about.
