A lot depends on your personal circumstances, taxable income, etc.
Some people use their assets to secure a loan, the loan repayment rate may work out less than the tax hit if you sell a large parcel of shares in a single year. The other potential option is that you can live off any future dividend until retirement, as there are less tax implication for income in retirement.
The good news for you is you don't have to worry about this for along time!
