I've finally had a chance to read the 4C...
One item jumped out at me:
"Mesoblast received a US$15.0 million upfront payment and a US$2.5 million milestone payment under the Grünenthal strategic partnership for the development of Mesoblast’s Phase 3 allogeneic product candidate for the treatment of chronic low back pain due to degenerative disc disease"
The endorsement by Grunenthal should be highly valued... they've done their DD, signed up and now willing to make their payments.
US$17.5m is not big for companies, but hey that's serious $$$ being transferred from one company to another, you don't do that on a whim.
Grunenthal are an expert on pain treatments and they've chosen Mesoblast - that's a big endorsement to me
