This may be an ignorant question, but I have seen a number of people mention an early end to the trial if there is early signs of efficacy.
My question is considering it is a blind trial, who analyses and decides whether the individual results (be they positive recovery, or negative result) are attributable to either the treatment or the placebo?
If the doctors don't know, then who is it that actually oversees collation of trial results and in what timeframe?
Any ideas?
