Unfortunately, there probably won’t be a reaction like that for our ‘therapeutic’ or any other ‘therapeutic’ for that matter - that will be reserved for a vaccine (if an effective one ever rears its head?). I think the initial excitement we will experience from a possible overwhelming efficacy result might be tempered by the historical manufacturing limitations of MSCs. However, I guess if we had 100% survival in the treatment-arm then probably all previous notions of manufacturing limitations goes out the window - because every government arm and big pharma company will throw money at us (for partnership or licensing) to invoke mass production.

Anyways, I just wish we heard more about the SPECIFICS of the manufacturing scale-up and how much CR money was allocated. Until we can manufacture 10’s of thousands of doses, we will remain a niche treatment.
