So in this trial you are expecting 75% (112 to die out of 150) of the patients on placebo to die then right? Then that would be great for the numbers.
But what if 90% live with SOC in the trial. that would mean 15 people die out of 150. And if we assume some still die on REM-L then we might see a 2% gain??
Some people keep saying we want everyone to live in the trial, but others quote high numbers for people dying that is the basis for the $$$ to be had. Can't pick and choose folks. Either you want those on placebo to die so our numbers look good or you don't.
