Sure, I could technically start up a company and be one of the many listed in the fight for COVID, but could I get into a Phase 3 study? Certainly not.
Although vaccine hopes are nice, it's important to be optimistic. Most if not, any will get through and more evidence is suggesting that the antibodies for COVID-19 are short lived. If this is truly the case, then vaccines won't confer long-term immunity (i.e. if you're infected with COVID, it doesn't mean you'll be safe).
