It would appear that the contributor Jun Bei Lui neglected a small but significant Variable. The “Standard of care” comment could be correct if you were fortunate enough to get a bed in ICU. But in multiple locations(USA) there is limited ICU capacity, having beds occupied for weeks.
I don’t think the people requiring the “standard of care” have time to take a number and wait!
This standard of care term is a bit odd and out of place considering the death toll. I think this person needs to kick her heels off and take a stroll through a Covid ICU.
