If it's possible to spam the threads with negative posts, and those others tire of the sheer effort and volume involved in responding, they get a clear run to any potential newbies who read it and take fright.
That's the plan. It's window dressing the real game is going on with the algos. However, they're an important part of the process of giving it a shove in the desired direction and starving the market of confidence. IMO.
Instos sophisticated as they're meant to be, have certain criteria and if they aren't met, they won't bite. All great for those in the know.
