Totally agree @JDBL
Many investors and traders on stocks I own seem to think everything can be planned to within a few weeks from a point many months ahead. All a company can reasonably do is offer an indication of expected timeframe and work towards it. But so much is unpredictable and out of their hands - especially in a pandemic. In clinical research they are relying on actions and availability of many people who are not on the company payroll including hospital staff and trial participants.
Yet shareholders get really impatient, demanding and essentially end up talking down the company. It achieves nothing but erosion of confidence and stock price. Seems like a child screaming to a parent: 'I want it, I want it now!'
We will get what we get when it's ready. And it will probably be better for having waited.
