Great article and it's very relevant.
Coronavirus has pushed people into shopping-spree for toilet paper etc, similarly pushing investors into buying virus-related speculative stocks previously unheard of.
Now, if Mesoblast with already clinically-backed and industry-leading stem cells technology somehow can help combat virus, in my view it is not just a short-term boost to the value of the stock, But, more importantly another living proof that the science of stem cells treatments is so new, unexplored and unprecedented in terms of its potential benefit and application
Given Mesoblast is the further-est in the field, in fact already selling the commercial product in Japan, I hope not just investors, but government can appreciate its work and work with Meso on delivering stem-cell treatments.
