Ok ... it’s early in the morning and I probably need more coffee, but here are some questions ..... don’t bite my head off if they sound like blonde questions as I said I probably need more coffee ...
So .... given that like coronaviruses, graft rejection disease is associated with cytokine storms. Remestemcel-L has also been effective at moderate doses in treating advanced cases of respiratory distress where other therapies have failed.... and COVID-19 is now considered a pandemic by WHO, could:
1. The FDA accelerate its assessment of Ryoncil to enable its use in COVID-19 patients?
2. If approved could Ryoncil be used in an off label extension program to treat patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms ?
3. Could the FDA ‘rush’ through accelerated trials for an MSB off the shelf product to combat serious cases of COVID-19?
I am sure @ecoool2 and @otherperspective and some other more medically experienced posters on here would be able to let us know the answers to these questions and more .... either way if MSB can demonstrate positive outcomes for COVID-19 patients it could really raise MSB’s profile on the world stage - just sayin’
I will be interested to see the announcement this morning as one would have to assume we are getting one ... hehe
