,MESO,PSTI and ATHX are all in this battle to combat Corona. This is not winner take all.
IMO $$ for manufacturing has been what has been holding back all the cell therapy companies.
Wall street is worried that FDA would not approve until consistent large scale batch to batch manufacturing in place.
The billions needed for lower cost bioreactor manufacturing were not being offered until a therapy is actually approved.
All this has been put in place to give big pharma time to make deals and get there own programs going.
Demand is and will be overwhelming for cell therapy. Bottleneck is manufacturing, and hopefully many smart minds will come together to get these cells to the people..
Kudos to the first president, prime minister or leader that announces the use of stem cells to fight corona.
