However, given most trial action is determined by what's going on in the US and FDA you can get very easily and often caught "naked" before the market opens here the next day. Particularly these days. It is an odd situation, pretty much all the trading (short or long) occurs here in Oz but it's all driven by actions outside. Just IMHO.

I think statistically long term investors have always had greater returns than traders. statistically speaking: Ofcourse there are the odd traders who become minted very quickly, and the long term holders who dont do so well...
