My main observation of the ABC 7:30 story was a theme that, despite the urgency of COVID 19, we can't "abandon science" & prematurely jump to conclusions about drug efficacy and safety without first completing proper, randomised, controlled trials. This has been SI's consistent & grounded position. It is also encouraging that Mount Sinai hospital was referenced. This story highlighted some potential heart safety risks with Gilead's Remdisivir. Overall, this story bodes well for MSB's approach.
