Somewhat of a tangent, but... for some public holidays you get an extra day declared public holiday if they fall on a weekend. For example if Dec 25 is a Saturday, you’ll get 4 days of public holidays: 25th Christmas Day, 26th Boxing Day, 27th Christmas Day (additional) and 28th Boxing Day (additional). Same for NYD. But if it’s Australia Day that falls on a weekend, the public holiday is on the Monday (instead of, not in addition to Jan 26). ANZAC Day is different again, the only public holiday is April 25, regardless of what day of the week it is. Not certain why the rules are inconsistent. But ASX open on Monday.
