my posts from around Sep19 describe what is happening right now ... shorts have a number of 'real' events they are putting their positions at risk against... they've never come up against a phase 3 trial result from MSB before.. this is new territory for all involved with MSB. Nobody can predict what will happen, but what we know for sure is that anybody who has a short position when those trial results announced are betting against those results ... so they can't blame anyone but themselves if they end up losing their job or their business goes insolvent... does that sound like a worthwhile risk.. with their upside probably limited to $1 per share.. where the downside to them is their job/business? I think those short positions are thinking that exact same thing right now.. and if they haven't they will be very soon.
