Today looks like big fund buying, not retail. What do you think?
When I have seen this kind of volume and consistency all day, it reminds me of other times when I later see substantial shareholder notices. I don't see any news or announcements to support this kind of frenzy. So looks like some or a few funds have decided they are not holding enough of the stock. This proves the CR was the right message and action to give to market. There is plenty of new stock available to sell but buyers are still overwhelming.
Also we did postulate that no one will be able to keep the results a secret if it is going well. Patients/doctors/nurses talk. Hedge funds send people down to talk to people. They don't use conventional research techniques - sitting behind computers crunching numbers.
