Great, but I'm not very smart so perhaps you can tell me if I "spend $100,000 at $3.50 per share" how much I would have left if it drops to $2 per share using the example given or using Madamswer's peddled theory.

I think I prefer @madamswer's peddled theory, unless I'm spending/speculating with money I'm prepared to lose, which a quite few here don't seem to be doing.
