I think it is a case of making the best of the situation. I reckon this thing is destined to fly but the way it's being played looks like the 'team' is already making money. Timely information is power.
I watch the trades. Someone(s) knows what is happening just before it happens (both positive and negative).
Or it is just a coincidence. Over many years.....like a clock. Maybe.........
