Thanks @stockrock I completely agree. Let's look at the facts:
1. No one can reopen properly without at least an 80% vaccination rate assuming lambda doesnt come and devistate us worse than Delta. 2. 80% can't be achieved unless all children are inlcuded in a vac program due to population facts and hesitancy. 3. Parents are not going to give their kids a shot any time soon due to fear. 4. Reme reduced mortality rate in under 65's by a staggering amount and is safe with no side effects. 5. $20k a pop for really sick COVID patients looks like a bargain when your whole country and economy is locked down with no end in sight (NSW has been in lockdown for what 3 weeks with another at least 3-6 weeks to go, Victoria 3 weeks just opening up, SA 2 weeks, QLD at least 2 weeks+
If I am the FDA I can grant an EUA while insisting on a Confirmatory trial and look like a hero. Worst case the CT doesnt look as good "well we tried to save some lives" or "see we were heros and were right to give it an EUA"
