Getting the job done is diverting the discussion from positives and put doubt into people's mind.
Very difficult to deal with it. You have to dig up or signpost the alternatives and hope that people actually do their research and stop giving in to emotion. Too many of the latter around.
People might also research 'short ladder attack'.
