Whoever was involved in requesting, writing, submitting & financing the letter, they have cost Mesoblast time, money & perhaps, some credibility; all things that can be overcome. But what can’t be overcome is the possible cost of life.

For those who walk this planet with a modicum of decency, the letter causes great sadness & anger as it may have cost an innocent child unnecessary suffering or their life due to Ryoncil not being readily available in treating the disease SR-agvhd; all because of the letter’s intended purpose being achieved. IMO, this was because someone was scared that a product would be shown as being either ineffective & inefficient when compared to Ryoncil. The proper course in my opinion would be to do better & improve the product or develop a product to meet an unmet need, as Mesoblast has done.

I hope there are more leaks with regards to the letter. I hope that whoever requested & financed the letter is revealed.
