Reckon the push down to 1.69 was an attempt to trigger some stop losses and flush out nervous sellers. Hasn't played out that way so far, very little selling interest and very low volume in the last couple of hours. Be interesting to see what happens this afternoon. Buy side looks well supported under 1.70 atm, sell side volume will have to increase significantly to have any impact. Either way, precarious position short sellers find themselves in.
