you are not completely wrong with respect to budgeting, maybe (context sorely needed: what capital do you have, whats the equity in the asset being pledged as security, current/other streams of income etc.) but good luck getting a loan for a *new* venture that you can't demonstrate to afford in your current situation and just on your own projected income. Especially as you climb the chain into corporate and middle markets lending you would be laughed out the building.
i don't have a problem with your lack of lending knowledge, but the fact that you are wrapping this romcom Hollywood depiction of what a bank does as lending 101 in a "you don't know much about lending" spiel is despicable and tells me precisely how full of BS you are.
