I wonder how much of last weeks buying was related to (a) expectation of OTAT results and (b) emergence of Omicron. That is buying with a short term horizon. When the former did not eventuate and the latter now ‘possibly’ a blessing for humanity, how many short term investors are now exiting? With the downward pressure, if I was professionally shorting, now would be the time to apply pressure and hit those stop gaps. As Cato pointed out, volume is small. Fundamentals haven’t really changed, if anything balance sheet looking less precarious.
