So for my situation in Canada the heat gets turned up when the stock goes below 5 bucks. Above 5 the brokerage loans me on margin 70% of value. If stock goes below 5 bucks they loan me50% So now I have a pretty big margin call as stock is about 4.70 usd
If stock ever went below 3 bucks then I have no margin avaiiable..
Shorts like to make margin calls for retail and even more so at christmas time.
Anyway its a good thing that stock is not marginable in aus
