They got stopped out it means the price was deliberately driven lower than the price points paid on people who borrowed money to pay for their shares. As part of this stop losses are issued, a point where the stock is sold from under you.
The problem is when people haven't done enough research on the stock and then they don't buy back in because they imagine the rout is justified. /they come in here and want a quick explanation and they get doubly scared because of the disinformation in here.
Some would have sold because they were scared too. They don't understand VWAP
