lol I suspect they meant below the days open... Also generally and also imo, closing auction below the last non-auction price (e.g. at 3:59:59 pm) could indicate a large buyer or buyers who could command a lower bid, whereas above indicates a large seller or sellers who could command a higher offer (all things being equal for all cases).
