I think the people who "come in infrequently" would be better informed if they took a look across all of your guesswork and saw how frequently it was wrong. I'd say pretty much always.

You don't balance the discussion with facts, you speculate, often wildly. People unfamiliar with your unique posting style should assess how often you refer to third party documents to justify your point. I'd says almost never.

Only then should they decide whether the "balance" you bring to the discussion has any merit at all. If they decide that wild guessing, aggressive defence and no cross referencing is good enough, then you've hit the mark.
