It would perhaps be of greater clinical significance if there were negative consequences so the inclusion in a late breaking session isn't a guarantee of anything. Being the first to debunk a treatment can carry just as much prestige in the medical world, Thalidomide being an obvious example.
Shoo-in or shoe-in? Having the boot sunk in is far less pleasant so my money's on the former.
On a separate point I've noticed several posters who were holders have fallen by the wayside over the past few months. Their loss is someone else's gain .......
