Regarding William Burns I'm yet to see him make the substantial impact that his joining of the board indicated. He was supposedly part of the board because he could help with "mega deals" given his past experience.
So far in my view nothing to show for it.
Although I can't see behind closed doors he might be "laying the ground work" very very well but so far in terms of tangible publicly seen outcomes its basically slim to none at this point.
He might have had some sway in the Celgene deal however.
