Gillard's scheme was not the same debt recovery scheme as Morrison's version and Gillard's version complied with the law, though it's worth noting that it was Gillard that appointed Kathryn Campbell as head of Human Services (one of her very bad moves that showed her judgement was questionable). Morrison though went a long way out of his way to prove beyond doubt that in the poor judgement stakes nobody would ever match his record. The most unfit P.M. to ever hold office, totally lacking in empathy, integrity, honesty and plain plain old decent values, he raised loopholing to an artform much to our detriment.
The others you mention aren't really all that great either but they don't hold a candle to those actually involved in the implimentation of Morrison's scheme and in ignoring the countless warning about it and never investigating in any genuine manor the legality or other wise of the scheme and then concealing what they must have known or had suspitions of with regard to it. Those people were cruel and fealt they could do as they pleased regardless of the law as long as they believed the thin cloak of plausable deniability was there however implausable or unbelievable it was as a defence.
If these people get off without penalty just imagine how enboldened the next crop of unfit M.P.s and Dept heads will do?
