MGC have been in this situation many times before. Many processors are doing quite well and have no intention of dropping the farm gate price to farmers as they process and manufacture what the market requires. At the meeting at Cobram/Barooga Sports Club today suppliers strongly voiced their concerns with the company. Many other processors would gladly take on more suppliers, thus putting MG in a worse position.
