Reading the Reference above confirms that the one big risk, as yet clarified is that there will not be any adequate seal to trap the He.
It seems that just about every other He resource is associated with salt seals: e.g. US, central Australia, Siberia and Qatar. Exceptions are very large gas fields for example Bayu Undan, NW Shelf Australia where He content is very low but the size justifies processing the waste gases further.
It could well be that the He we see in seeps in the East African rift is directly seeping out from the source and nothing is being trapped?
I'm just writing this because I cant see any direct mention of this problem in any of the company reports and also in Danabalan et al ( https://doi.org/10.1144/petgeo2021-0) who go into great detail on Rukwa but gloss over any mention of seals. Even though Rukwa is a salt lake and there might be as yet undiscovered salt in the subsurface, it seems to me that there istn't any good seal.
Well regardless of all of the above i am still invested, and await a good outcome.
